A modest single storey semi-detached 1940s house has been extended with additions to front, side and rear. Each addition has a specific function, forming an 'envelope' around the original core: The rear extension has a new 'Hearth' and glass wall to rear garden, the side houses the functional utility and storage to the house; The front comprised of the new bay window and front lobby presenting a new entrance to the front elevation.
